Which banks are supported?
ConvertStatement has dedicated rule-based parsers for 16 banks: Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Capital One, Citibank, U.S. Bank, PNC, TD Bank, TD Canada Trust, Barclays, HSBC, Santander, Revolut, N26, Deutsche Bank, and ING. If your bank isn't listed yet, you can request it from any bank page.
What output formats can I export to?
Four formats: CSV (universal spreadsheet), Excel XLSX, OFX (Quicken, Mint, Wave), and QBO (direct QuickBooks import). All four are available on every plan, including the free tier.
Is my bank statement data safe?
Yes. Files are processed entirely in memory and, by default, nothing is stored, logged, or shared — your data is deleted from memory the moment processing completes. The only exception is opt-in: if a conversion fails, you may choose to share a redacted, PII-free skeleton to help add support. All transfers use HTTPS.
Does it use AI or OCR?
For every supported bank, no — ConvertStatement uses deterministic, rule-based parsers, one dedicated parser per bank that understands that bank's exact PDF layout. The same input always produces the same output, so amounts and dates are never hallucinated, and every conversion is checked against the statement's own balance. For banks we don't support yet, signed-in users can optionally use self-hosted AI extraction (beta) — it runs on our own hardware, no third-party AI ever sees the data, and results are only delivered when they pass the same balance verification as the rule-based parsers.
