Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
Service description
ConvertStatement is a web-based tool that converts bank statement PDF files into structured data formats (CSV, Excel, OFX, QBO). The service processes files in memory and does not store your bank data.
Acceptable use
You may use ConvertStatement to convert your own bank statements or statements you are authorized to access. You agree not to:
- Upload files you do not have the right to access
- Use the service for fraudulent or illegal purposes
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service
- Share your account credentials with others
- Circumvent usage limits or subscription restrictions
Accounts and billing
Free accounts include a limited number of conversions per month. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Accuracy and liability
ConvertStatement extracts transaction data from PDF files using rule-based parsers. While we strive for high accuracy, we do not guarantee that every transaction will be extracted correctly. Always review your converted data before using it for accounting, tax, or financial purposes. ConvertStatement is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for errors in extracted data or any decisions made based on converted output.
Intellectual property
The ConvertStatement name, logo, and service are owned by ConvertStatement. Your uploaded files and converted data remain yours. We claim no ownership over your bank data.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting [email protected].
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of ConvertStatement after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
